Reselling eBooks on eBay
Many products on eBay are resold, it's the a fact; when somepeople don't need something anymore they might attempt to resell it on eBay to get a some money from it. Of course to resell a particular object in your house or from anywhere, you must package it... send it... wait a week or two or three before your buyer receives it... it's usually broken so they give you bad feedback... and a lot of bad things may come from it. Now imagine you could see something that did not require all this hassle, let's say a digital product or a File right from your own computer... Howbout an eBook?
E-Books are great things to sell on eBay because they do not require packing and shipping it through a post office, but rather through a simple e-mail. Another great thing about eBooks is that you can sell the SAME one OVER and OVER again, can't really do that with an object can you?
Alright, so where would you get one of these eBooks to sell over and over again? Simple, go on eBay.com and type "ebook" in the search field, your bound to find thousands of them. NOTE: You MUST find one that has resale rights included with it. Resale rights are rights to resell this item after it is bought. If it does not have resale rights on it, it is ILLEGAL to resell this item once it is bought, and it is for personal use ONLY due to Copyrights. There are also some requirements that comes with this business, one important one is you must sign up for a PayPal Premier or PayPal Business Account. Both are free to set up, they require no sign-up fees, however by having a Premier or Business account, you are subject to some small fees when accepting funds through eBay. Personal accounts are not subject to most of these fees however if you are going to sell an eBook on eBay you are required to have a Premier or Business account. If you're just starting out, I recommend a Premier account.
A few tips:
-Make your listings end for Sunday evening/night, I had the highest profits during that time.
-Don't price your items to high! You don't want to scare away everyone with high prices.
-Make sure to include an accurate description of the item you are selling so people know what they are buying.
-In my opinion the Buy It Now feature has worked the best, starting auctions at a very low price tends to end in a low price. Remember not to price the item too high though!
-Download eBay's Turbo Lister 2 for an easier way of posting your items.
